First founded in Hungary in the mid-1930s by Frank Steiner, a resilient and visionary Jewish entrepreneur, Confeta embodies a legacy shaped by perseverance and a passion for quality.

Sadly, Frank faced the challenges of anti-Jewish laws during WWII, forcing the closure of his cherished business and ultimately leaving him with no choice but to relocate his life and family to the safe shores of Australia.

In 1942, with unwavering determination, he reopened the doors of Confeta in Sydney, laying the foundation for what would become a beacon of quality in the baking industry ‘Down Under’.

In 1986, Frank entrusted the reins of Confeta to Cleo Antoniou, who, together with his family continue to carry forward Mr Steiner’s legacy with the same pride and dedication. Under their stewardship, Confeta has flourished into Australia's leading manufacturer of paper baking cups (patty pans) and are globally renowned for quality and performance.

Over the years, our commitment to excellence has propelled us beyond paper baking cups into a comprehensive range of packaging solutions for the broader food industry. From eco-friendly materials to unique designs, Confeta continues to adapt and diversify to meet the forever evolving needs of our customers.

Our Head Office and main manufacturing facility now sits on 15,000sqm in Padstow, a short 25 minutes from Sydney Airport. We have further converting and warehousing facilities strategically located in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide which enables us to support businesses across the country with efficiency and reliability.
